Job description
Akkodis is seeking an AWS Devops Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL. Candidates must have strong expertise in AWS tools like CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline, along with foundational skills in Git, Linux, and Docker.
Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AWS Devops Engineer Job Responsibilities Include
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS services such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments leveraging AWS tools and DevOps best practices.
- Monitor and optimize system performance using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring solutions.
- Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and related technologies for scalable application delivery.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and high-velocity application delivery.
- Maintain secure and efficient cloud environments by applying best practices for configuration, version control, and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years in AWS DevOps engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and tools such as CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in foundational DevOps skills including Git, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
