Le'fant is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support operations at The Charleston Digital Hub in the Charleston, SC area. This is a remote position and can be done from anywhere in the U.S. This is a junior level position.
Description:
As a Junior DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the teams to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like automation, cloud-based development, and open-source tools. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges.
This role requires team members to be part of an on-call rotation. Staff will need to be able to respond calls on a 24/7 basis. Each rotation lasts one week, and staff will be on call every 4 to 6 weeks depending on team size.

Pay Transparency
There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. Annual salary is just one component of Le'fant's total compensation package. Le'fant provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to, health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401k plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $37,500 - $60,000.
