Job Summary:
As a Google Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring efficient development operations. Your role bridges the gap between development and operations, focusing on automation, scalability, and reliability. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our systems and enhance delivery pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:
Design and implement automated deployment pipelines for application releases.
Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Collaborate with developers to streamline application deployment processes.
Automate testing, deployment, and rollback procedures.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Security and Compliance:
Collaboration and Documentation:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience, including at least 1 year designing and managing production systems using Google Cloud.
Familiarity with GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, etc.).
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
