Job Title: DevOps/Cloud Engineer III

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ months (possible extension or conversion)

Role Summary:

Seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to containerize software, support AWS-based database solutions, and migrate on-prem data stores to cloud. Role includes building IaC, deploying multi-region databases, and supporting cloud platform performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Containerize code and COTS applications (EKS/ECS/Kubernetes)
• Implement AWS database solutions balancing performance, durability, and security
• Migrate on-prem Oracle/SQL databases to AWS
• Deploy/maintain multi-region database environments
• Develop IaC using Terraform and GitLab
• Automate installs for custom & COTS apps via IaC

Must-Have Skills:

• Terraform & GitLab pipelines (IaC)
• Containerization (EKS/ECS/Kubernetes)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Databricks, Mongo Atlas
• SaaS/NoSQL databases
• VPC, Transit Gateway, Transit VPC, Direct Connect
• Compute, networking, storage fundamentals
