Job description
Title – Senior Data Engineer
Position – Contract with Opportunity for Full Time Conversion
Location – Remote Work
Salary – 1- 2 Lakhs (Monthly)
Working hours should be 6:30 am - 2:30 pm EST (USA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6+ years experience architecting and building large scale data platforms
- Experience architecting and building large-scale data platforms, including data lakes and data marts
- Proven experiences as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in database design and development.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of reporting Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Knowledge with Goolgle BigQuery or equivalent.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms with GCP preferred.
- Experience using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, Spark, Flink is aplus.
- Knowledge of Postgres is a plus.
