ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise storage systems including Dell/EMC (PowerMax, Unity, VNX, Isilon), Pure Storage (FlashArray, FlashBlade), and Hitachi Vantara (VSP series)
- Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability; proactively identify and resolve issues
- Perform storage provisioning, zoning, masking, and LUN management
- Support SAN/NAS environments using Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS/CIFS
- Manage replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery solutions
- Collaborate with server, virtualization, backup, and application teams to meet infrastructure requirements
- Participate in storage migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh projects
- Ensure compliance with security, backup, and data retention policies
- Maintain documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
- Provide on-call support and incident response as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Storage or Infrastructure Administrator
- Strong hands-on experience with Dell/EMC, Pure Storage, and Hitachi storage platforms
- Solid understanding of SAN/NAS architectures and storage networking
- Experience with Fibre Channel switches (Brocade/Cisco preferred)
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere integration with enterprise storage
- Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam)
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Experience working in enterprise or data center environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Storage-related certifications (Dell EMC, Pure Storage, Hitachi, VMware)
- Experience with cloud-integrated storage or hybrid environments
- Knowledge of automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs)
- Exposure to ITIL-based support processes

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
