We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology team in a hybrid work environment, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This role involves overseeing IT operations, strategy, and innovation. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills.

1. Qualification

Strong leadership experience in managing large development teams (80+ people).
Proven track record of setting up and scaling offshore IT teams.
Experience in people management, talent retention, and ability to recruit and retain top talent in the offshore location.
Experience in setting up and optimizing IT processes for efficiency and scalability.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, cloud technologies, and security best practices.
Experience with modern architectures, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
Outstanding knowledge of various IT systems
Familiarity with technology stack such as C#, .NET, JAVA, Networking, Security.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with the main office IT team.
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive effective collaboration.
Experience working in distributed teams and managing time zone differences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges.
Domain Experience mandatory ( Trading / Capital market / wealth management)
Exposure in Agentic AI / Github Copilot

2. Duties and responsibilities:

Develop strategies for our COE IT department
Implement new strategies and optimize existing strategies
Hire new key roles for IT department
Plan together with HOD’s and oversee IT department’s projects
Work closely with IT Director and HOD’s in main office
