Job description
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Required 3+ years of overall experience, with 3+ years in Node.js and 2+ years in NestJS.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with TypeORM (TypeScript-based).
- Solid experience with RESTful API development and frontend integration.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Good understanding of unit and integration testing.
- Strong client communication, requirement analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using TypeScript and best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend teams and communicate directly with clients for requirement gathering, technical discussions, and solution design.
- Implement data models, entities, and repositories using TypeORM with TypeScript.
- Design and manage SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and work with Supabase as a database platform.
- Implement authentication & authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, RBAC).
- Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- Good to have experience with microservices architecture, GraphQL, and Agile/Scrum environments.
