Role Overview

Orbit Global HR Consultants LLP, one of the best executive search firms in India, is hiring a Retention Marketing Manager for a leading D2C FMCG brand.

The role will be responsible for owning the customer lifecycle post-acquisition, with a strong focus on retention, repeat purchases, customer lifetime value (LTV), and churn reduction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CRM and lifecycle marketing within a fast-paced D2C startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end retention and lifecycle marketing for D2C / e-commerce customers

• Plan, execute, and optimise Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Push Notification campaigns.

• Build and continuously optimise customer journeys, cohorts, and segmentation within CRM or marketing automation platforms.

• Drive improvements in repeat purchase rate, frequency, LTV, and overall retention KPIs

• Conceptualise and execute loyalty programs, referral initiatives, and win-back campaigns.

• Work closely with performance marketing, product, analytics, and tech teams to optimise customer funnels.

• Analyse customer behaviour and campaign performance; run A/B tests on messaging, offers, and timings.

• Own CRM dashboards and reporting, sharing actionable insights with stakeholders

• Ensure consistent and engaging communication across all owned channels.

Mandatory Screening Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

1. Candidate must be currently working or previously worked with a D2C startup only.

2. Must have 3–6 years of experience strictly in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing

3. Hands-on experience executing campaigns across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Push Notifications

4. Proven expertise in building and optimising customer journeys, cohorts, and segmentation

5. Must be available for a face-to-face (in-person) interview

6. Must be currently based in Delhi/NCR only
