About the Role

we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Solar Permit Designer (Team Lead) to join our growing design team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality solar permit drawings and coordinating with international clients to meet project standards and timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare complete solar permit drawing sets and layouts for US and UK-based residential and commercial projects

• Lead and guide the design team to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery

• Review project requirements, specifications, and local AHJ guidelines

• Incorporate client feedback and revise drawings as required

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and structural standards

• Coordinate with internal teams to maintain project documentation and workflows

Candidate Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical and structural calculations related to solar systems

• Hands-on experience in residential and commercial solar permit and layout designs

• Experience working on projects for USA, UK, and Australia

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical specifications and guidelines in English

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design tools

• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
