Orbit Global HR Consultants, a leading executive search firm, is partnering with a high-growth Healthcare / HealthTech organization to hire a Legal Manager / Legal Lead for its Hyderabad office.
This is a hands-on, ownership-driven role for a senior legal professional who will lead end-to-end commercial contracting, negotiations, compliance, and legal risk management, acting as a trusted advisor to Finance, Business, and Leadership teams in a fast-scaling environment.
The Legal Manager / Legal Lead will own and drive all customer, vendor, and compliance agreements, ensuring strong legal governance while enabling business growth. The role requires deep expertise in commercial contracts, risk allocation, and negotiations, along with the ability to independently manage complex enterprise deals.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer contracts including MSAs, SoWs, amendments, and renewals
Independently lead commercial and legal negotiations with enterprise customers
Own and structure liability, indemnity, SLAs, data protection, and risk allocation clauses
Balance commercial objectives with legal and financial risk
Draft and manage vendor, partner, and service agreements, including NDAs
Ensure contractual compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements
Conduct legal and financial risk assessments for new deals, partnerships, and initiatives
Act as a legal advisor to Finance, Sales, HR, Operations, and Leadership teams
Support decision-making with practical, business-aligned legal guidance
Partner with finance teams on governance, audits, and compliance reviews
Establish and continuously improve contracting, documentation, and compliance processes
Maintain contract repositories, approvals, obligation tracking, and documentation accuracy
Support audits and finance-led governance initiatives
Contract turnaround time (TAT) for customer and vendor agreements
Quality and consistency of liability, indemnity, and risk clauses
Accuracy and completeness of contract documentation and repositories
Stakeholder feedback from Finance, Sales, and Leadership
Implementation of scalable contracting and compliance frameworks
LLB or LLM from a recognized university
5 – 10 years of relevant legal experience
Strong hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
Proven ability to independently lead enterprise-level contract negotiations
Deep understanding of liability, indemnity, SLAs, data protection, and contractual risk
Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills
Company Secretary (CS) qualification – strong advantage (higher compensation applicable)
Prior experience in Healthcare, HealthTech SaaS, or Hospital industry
Exposure to fast-growing or founder-led organizations
