About the Role

Orbit Global HR Consultants, a leading executive and specialist search firm, is hiring a Full Stack Developer for a fast-scaling HealthTech SaaS organization.

This is an individual contributor role where you will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and other developers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The role demands strong hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.js, along with a deep understanding of software design principles and best coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Ruby on Rails
Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js
Write robust unit tests to ensure reliability, usability, and performance
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in APIs and application layers
Maintain high code quality through code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver superior user experiences
Apply software design principles to create clean and reusable code
Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence
Ensure adherence to OWASP security standards and web security best practices

Mandatory Skills & Experience

3–6 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web application development
Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language
Mandatory hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
Strong working experience with React.js and modern frontend development
Solid understanding of SQL databases
Good knowledge of HTTP protocol and RESTful architecture
Experience building scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
Ability to write clean, testable, and high-quality code
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with OWASP principles and web security best practices
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

Good to Have

Experience with PostgreSQL
Exposure to AWS cloud services
