We are seeking a seasoned Business Head – P&L Owner to lead an integrated ecosystem spanning franchise platforms, investment marketplaces, consulting, media, and large-scale events.
This role carries complete end-to-end P&L ownership across multiple revenue verticals, including brand onboarding, investor acquisition, partner-led sales channels, digital marketplaces, advisory services, and high-margin events businesses.
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with hands-on execution capability, experienced in platform-led, franchise, licensing, or multi-channel sales businesses, and comfortable working closely with founders and board-level stakeholders.
Full ownership of revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, and cost control
Annual budgeting, pricing, forecasting, and margin optimisation
Ownership of unit economics by vertical and channel
Funnel accountability from lead to deal to revenue
Driving sustainable, repeatable growth (non burn-led)
Build and monetise a high-quality portfolio of franchisable brands
Own brand onboarding, profiling, pricing, and monetisation
Design and manage multiple monetisation models:
Free and paid listings
Premium visibility packages
Franchise sales mandates
Consulting and advisory retainers
Ensure brands are franchise-ready in terms of commercial viability, scalability, and documentation
Protect platform credibility by screening non-scalable or low-quality brands
Integrate brands across:
Digital marketplace
Events and expos
Partner-led selling channels
Design and scale a national Business Associate (BA) network
Onboard consultants, brokers, and professionals as franchise deal partners
Enable partners with:
Brand access
Sales collateral
CRM and lead allocation
Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical selling standards
Drive partner productivity, conversion, and ROI
Appoint and manage regional branch and channel partners
Expand franchise reach across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities
Integrate partners into:
Local investor meets
Regional franchise shows
Lead follow-ups and closures
Track performance, compliance, and ROI
Scale high-performing partners and exit non-performing partners
Own the complete investor lifecycle from lead to advisory, closure, and handover
Improve ticket sizes, deal velocity, and investor confidence
Integrate financing partners, associates, and events into the investor journey
Scale listings for business exits, partial stake sales, and fundraising opportunities
Monetise advisory, transaction support, and deal structuring
Improve closure rates and deal timelines
Own complete P&L for national and regional franchise expos, city-level franchise shows, and awards and leadership summits

Candidates must come from one or more of the following backgrounds:
Franchise and licensing platforms
Marketplaces or platform-led businesses
Media, advertising, events, and exhibitions
Multi-channel sales organisations (direct and partner-led)
15–25 years of progressive leadership experience
8–12+ years of full P&L ownership at a business or multi-vertical level
Demonstrated ownership of revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
Proven experience managing multiple revenue streams simultaneously
Strong hands-on exposure to:
Franchise and licensing models
Brand onboarding and monetisation
Partner-led sales engines
Events, sponsorships, and media monetisation
Investor-facing sales and advisory with deal closures
Experience working closely with founders, promoters, or board members
MBA / PGDM in Business, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, or Entrepreneurship
Strong real-world P&L experience may substitute formal qualifications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Strategic thinking with strong execution rigour
Deep understanding of unit economics and funnel optimisation
Governance, compliance, and ethical sales leadership
Ability to scale businesses sustainably
