Wayfair’s Forecasting & Replenishment Analytics team enables the Inventory Management function at Wayfair to achieve its mission of building an integrated approach to drive high product availability across CastleGate (CG), Physical Retail, and Dropship; combined with high turns, strong penetration, and optimal positioning for CG. The team consists of data scientists who are responsible for developing and managing global large-scale demand forecasting systems and scalable analytics products that power Wayfair’s complex supply chain and inform the business on its performance and forward looking outcomes.
The Forecasting & Replenishment Analytics team is looking for a data scientist to build analytics products, models, and data infrastructure to support inventory replenishment operations. Example projects include building forecasting models for E-commerce and Physical Retail stores, building forward looking projections of inventory bleed-down, and building automated infrastructure to collect data, refresh models, and update analytical tools daily.

Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely the other 1 day of the week.
