Description and Requirements
Working with the Client Relationship team Manager and the broader Corporate Distribution Team, this role is responsible for activities that contribute to the achievement of the team’s sales and retention objectives as well as the overall corporate strategy and initiatives. The primary responsibility is providing technical expertise and relationship management support for a nominated panel of clients and key channel partners within MetLife’s corporate business.
Principal Responsibilities:* Working in collaboration with the other Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), you will manage the client relationships and day to day functions required to achieve sales and retention targets.
- Contribute towards the development and execution of strategic account plans aimed at renewing profitable business.
- To develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with external brokers, third party administrators and internal stakeholders, including underwriting, administration, claims, product and pricing.
- Coordinate re-rates from end to end to aid in retention of profitable accounts.
- Coordinate new business proposals from end to end.
- Ensure client requests and queries are followed up with the relevant internal business unit and ensure these are answered ina timelyand professional manner.
- Providing clientassistancewith training, education and MetLife technology support asrequired.
- Assistingwith regular reporting and salesforce maintenance on new opportunities, re-ratesand renewals.
- Seek out service improvements, product enhancements through ongoing communication and feedback from our partners.
- Ensure relationships between MetLife and our key partners are maximised.
- Assistwith projects including reviewing project documentation and testing systems.
- Establish andmaintaineffective communication channels with other business departments and clients tomaintainastrong working relationshipand the achievement of service standards.
- Work closely with other business departments and clients to encourage the continuous improvement of operational processes and proceduresand new product development initiatives.
- Compose and collate data into reports, summaries and correspondence as required.
- Escalate issues promptly and follow through as appropriate.

- Maintain and improve on client relationships as measured by client feedback and satisfaction scores from the internal/external surveys.
- Assist to develop and implement client strategies ensuring all key internal parties are involved to guarantee maximum success going forward.
- Maintain appropriate communication within and between the various functional areas.
- Escalate unresolved operational issues to the business heads and follow through as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience required:* Previous experience gained in financial services or insurance environment.
- Experience in client facing roles.
- RG 146 preferred.
- Other Industry related studies.
