Fitch Learning is currently seeking an M&A and Ops Analyst based out of our New York office.
About the Team
- The M&A and Strategic Ops team supports business leadership on strategic initiatives, operational excellence and growth strategy. He/she will work alongside and support the Head of Strategic Ops and M&A Integration. The analyst will work to streamline ops processes, implement robust reporting and metrics, and conduct financial analysis and diligence. The candidate will bring an innovative and commercial mindset to execute, expand efficiently, and find synergies to grow.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Work cross-functionally to collect, measure and execute an OKR/KPI framework across business products and geographies
- Identify, map, redesign operational processes and business practices with an eye towards efficiency, impact and scale for a growing employee base
- Create management deliverables, including decks, townhalls, board materials, metrics dashboards, and process documentation
- Help implement global governance of new people, processes and technology
- Conduct on-going financial, ops and market analysis on competitive landscape to inform business, product and client strategy
You May be a Good Fit if
- 3-5 years of experience in a role involving aspects of implementing or designing operational best practices, metrics and reporting, bizops or financial services
- Ability to design and manage dashboards through Excel, Qlikview, and/or Tableau, interpret and critically analyze data and trends, and create compelling presentations for leadership on operational, financial, client and product initiatives
- Proficiency with Excel functions, AI tooling, market research databases (PitchBook, Prequin, Crunchbase)
- Project management skills and the ability to seamlessly work with cross-functional partners in a global setting - including marketing, sales, finance, ops, technology and communications

FOR NEW YORK: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $83,000 USD and $86,000 USD per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
