About The Role We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. In this role, you will work closely with senior technical leads and client teams to design, build, and implement AI prototypes that address real-world business challenges. Your expertise will help translate emerging AI technologies into practical, scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI development, particularly in Generative AI and NLP applications, and will enjoy working in an innovative environment where problem-solving and technical excellence are valued.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in AI, software development, or data-driven solution implementation. Proven experience working with Generative AI, NLP applications, and cloud platforms such as Azure or Amazon Web Services is essential. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with building or integrating AI-based systems are required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of key Generative AI system patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic frameworks, evaluation and observability frameworks, and model monitoring pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within agile teams are also critical.
Responsibilities As an AI Developer at Guidehouse, your primary responsibilities will include supporting the design and development of Generative AI Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) tailored to client needs. You will build and test backend AI components that integrate data, logic, and models into cohesive workflows, ensuring reliable and explainable outcomes. Participating in architecture planning and implementation, you will help connect models, data sources, and business processes to create scalable solutions.
You will work within agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and client demonstrations. Collaborating closely with senior leads, you will ensure technical alignment with project goals and develop reusable assets for future engagements. Staying current with advancements in Generative AI, you will bring innovative ideas and practical tools to enhance delivery quality. Engaging with clients, you will assess AI readiness, identify automation opportunities, and support post-MVP enhancements to facilitate production deployment.
