World Cafe Live is a nonprofit organization founded on the principles of welcoming. Since opening in 2004, we have been a vibrant hub for independent live music in Philadelphia. We invite over 150,000 people through our doors every year, supporting emerging and established artists, creating educational programs, and welcoming audiences of all ages and abilities. In addition to presenting over 500 shows each year, World Cafe Live offers great food and beverages daily and caters over two hundred special events annually.

MARKETING COORDINATOR World Cafe Live is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours/week) Marketing Coordinator with a focus on social media to join the marketing team. The Marketing Coordinator will work under the Marketing Manager with support from the Director of Programming orimarily to create social media posts for event promotion and compelling visuals with a focus on organizational storytelling. There will also be responsiblities surrounding weekly digital newsletters, Meta ads, and in-house promotional materials. The ideal candidate is creative, highly motivated, passionate about live music, detail-oriented, and eager to engage with the community.
Responsibilities Include:
supporting the Marketing Manager with all social media event promotion across social media platforms
assist in copy writing and editing for various marketing materials, including digital newsletters
assist with conceptualizing content to align with organizational objectives
conduct outreach for show promotion
monitor and report on social media analytics
capture photo and video documentation of concerts and other events as identified by the Marketing Manager
engage with guests, staff, and artists to capture people-driven content
adapt content for multi-channel usage
ensure that all content meets brand guidelines and standards
deliver content in an organized and timely manner
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
excellent written and verbal communication skills
highly organized with a strong attention to detail
ability to work autonomously with direction
eye for design with respect to brand aesthetics
experience with social media management tools and ad platforms (e.g. Meta Ads Manager)
proficiency with basic design and editing software (e.g. Canva)
must have a current smart phone with working camera
access to professional camera is a plus, but not required
proficient in social media (specifically Meta, Instagram & TikTok and Twitter)
flexible hours with evening & weekend availability
