About The Role
We are seeking a talented Marketing UX Copywriter to join our marketing team and help shape the user experience through compelling and empathetic content. Reporting to the Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and conversion-driven copy that guides users seamlessly through their journey—from initial discovery to signing up and beyond. This role involves collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and marketing professionals to develop digital experiences that are visually cohesive, strategically sound, and optimized for clarity and performance. You will play a vital role in translating complex ideas into simple, user-centered messages that build trust and facilitate engagement. This is a remote position based in the United States, with the expectation that you can occasionally commute to the New York office for meetings and collaboration sessions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in UX writing, product copywriting, or digital content strategy, preferably in growth or acquisition-focused environments
- Strong understanding of UX principles, content design, and conversion optimization strategies
- Proven ability to craft high-performing copy for digital funnels, onboarding flows, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
- Experience using data, A/B testing, and user feedback to refine content and improve performance
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with designers, product teams, and marketers
- Ability to adapt tone and style to diverse audiences and touchpoints
- Demonstrated skill in brand storytelling to build trust and drive user action
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects independently
- Curious and receptive to feedback, with a desire to continuously develop your craft
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and analytics platforms is a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop clear, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for digital experiences across various channels, including landing pages, sign-up flows, quizzes, emails, and in-app messages
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment to shape messaging strategies that support user needs and business goals
- Collaborate proactively with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to recommend content approaches that enhance clarity, usability, and conversion rates
- Utilize analytics, A/B testing, and user feedback to optimize content performance and impact, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all acquisition touchpoints, ensuring long-term coherence and scalability
- Translate complex or technical information into approachable, user-centered messages that foster understanding and trust
- Partner with design and product teams to create seamless, intuitive user experiences that balance creativity and clarity
- Support marketing and brand initiatives by aligning content strategies with overall brand messaging
- Contribute to and maintain the UX writing style guide and content framework, ensuring they evolve with the product
- Work closely with research and analytics teams to gather insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points to inform content strategies
- Advocate for the user perspective throughout all stages of content creation, ensuring interactions are clear, empathetic, and effective
