About the Opportunity:
The organization is seeking a customer-focused Account Manager with a proven record of expanding and retaining customer business, building trusted relationships, and supporting financial transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for managing assigned accounts, nurturing long-term partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities for mutual benefit.
Responsibilities:
• Exceed expansion sales quota targets and revenue growth targets
• Develop specific account plans to ensure revenue delivery and balanced growth
• Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Serve as a trusted advisor based on knowledge of customer requirements and solutions
• Understand each customer''s technology landscape, growth plans, and industry trends
• Lead account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles
• Maintain a rolling 4Q sales pipeline and practice good CRM hygiene
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Support, Professional Services, partners, and channels to develop pipeline opportunities
• Keep customers informed about product releases and upgrade opportunities
• Identify customer needs and engage technical resources as necessary
• Manage the renewal transaction process, including communication, negotiation, and maintaining SalesForce notes
• Coordinate product updates and upgrades on behalf of customers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience managing Fortune 500 accounts and/or selling into CFO or CIO offices
• Experience with MEDDIC sales qualification preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams within the organization
• Strong understanding of finance, financial systems, and SaaS products; experience with the organization’s product preferred
• Strong business acumen
• Effective listening skills
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and conflict management skills
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred but not required
