About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our Client Success Department—the heartbeat of our customer experience.
This is not a simple support role. It is a relationship-driven, strategy-focused, high-ownership position. You will guide tax professionals through our frameworks, help them implement our software, and coach them toward revenue growth. You will directly influence client results, community culture, retention, and company revenue.
You will be working with two key divisions:
- Tax Maverick (Software): Engineered for deep strategy delivery, including assessment-first workflows, automated tax-savings modeling, and proposal automation.
- TAAP (Advisory Program): Helping firms operationalize advisory services through coaching and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with tax professionals through regular check-ins, strategic conversations, and personalized support. You are their partner in growth.
- Onboarding & Implementation: Develop and execute tailored onboarding plans to help clients implement Tax Maverick effectively and maximize the value of our SaaS offerings immediately.
- Retention & Expansion: Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for account expansion, renewal, and ascension. You will be responsible for managing retention rates and driving lifetime value.
- Coaching & Accountability: Provide accountability and strategic direction to clients. Identify risks, remove roadblocks, and host calls/success reviews to drive outcomes.
- Data-Driven Management: Utilize Salesforce to track customer interactions, monitor health scores, and manage account information with extreme accuracy.
- Voice of the Customer: Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends. Coordinate with marketing, product, and technical teams to advocate for enhancements that benefit the user base.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Project Management within the SaaS or Financial Services sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working within the financial services, tax, or accounting industry is highly desirable.
- Tech Stack: Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms) to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Communication Mastery: Excellent verbal and written skills. You must be able to articulate complex concepts clearly and actively listen to client needs.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability in relationship management to foster loyalty and spot growth opportunities (upsells/renewals).
- Performance Mindset: Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. You thrive in a high-performance, fast-moving environment.

Pay: $46,157.41 - $65,000.00 per year
