We are looking for a visionary Interior Designer to transform empty spaces into functional, aesthetically captivating environments. In this role, you will manage projects from the initial "brief" to final installation, ensuring every detail aligns with the client’s brand or lifestyle. The ideal candidate balances creative flair with technical precision, staying ahead of 2026 trends like biophilic design, smart-home integration, and eco-conscious sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to define goals, spatial requirements, and budget. Translate abstract ideas into tangible design concepts.
- Space Planning: Create detailed floor plans and 2D/3D layouts that optimize traffic flow, ergonomics, and accessibility (Universal Design).
- Concept Development: Produce mood boards, sketches, and high-fidelity renderings to communicate visual intent.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare "for construction" drawings, including electrical layouts, lighting plans, and millwork details.
- Sourcing & Procurement: Select and specify Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E). Manage vendor relationships and coordinate timely deliveries.
- Sustainability Integration: Prioritize eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient lighting to meet modern environmental standards.
- Project Management: Oversee on-site execution, collaborating closely with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure the design is built to specification.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Interior Architecture/Diploma in Interior Designing
- Software Mastery: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with VR/AR visualization tools or AI-driven design software is a major plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and safety regulations.
- Communication: Strong presentation skills; ability to "sell" a vision to stakeholders.
- Portfolio: A diverse portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or hospitality projects with a focus on functional beauty.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
