Brief Description
This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company. This position may require working some non-traditional hours (evening, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Managing existing customer base with company sponsored promotional materials and market updates.
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Heavy prospecting and opening new accounts to meet company objectives and CMP goals.
- Pricing and order-guide building
- Build account business to maximum capacity.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Alert customers on shipping and flow issues in advance.
- Maintain competent understanding of Campo Rico products, their functions, and alternatives.
- Coordinate, analyze and improve customer service functions to meet company goals.
- Perform other duties as required.
