Role Overview
The Account Management Lead will lead
strategic client relationships and large-scale influencer programs
, acting as the bridge between
client business objectives, creator strategy, and execution teams
. This role demands strong leadership, commercial acumen, and deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem across platforms.
You will be responsible for
owning accounts end-to-end
, driving growth, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-impact, culturally relevant influencer work.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
- Own senior-level relationships with brand stakeholders (Marketing Heads, CMOs, Brand Managers)
- Translate business goals into
clear influencer strategies and measurable outcomes
- Lead annual planning, campaign roadmaps, and long-term influencer partnerships
- Act as a trusted advisor on
creator trends, platform shifts, and cultural moments
Influencer & Campaign Excellence
- Oversee
creator selection, campaign narratives, and content quality
- Ensure alignment between brand tonality, creator voice, and platform best practices
- Guide teams on regional, vernacular, and Gen Z creator strategies
- Review and elevate campaign ideas, scripts, and execution plans
Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead Account Managers, Senior Account Executives, and Influencer Managers
- Set clear processes for planning, execution, reporting, and feedback loops
- Mentor teams on client management, negotiation, and influencer handling
- Ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met consistently
Commercial & Growth Responsibility
- Own account profitability, scope management, and commercials
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (new platforms, IPs, long-term contracts)
- Support new business pitches, proposals, and capability presentations
- Drive retainer renewals and expansion of existing accounts
Reporting & Measurement
- Ensure strong reporting frameworks covering reach, engagement, saves, shares, CPA, etc.
- Translate campaign data into
clear insights and next-step recommendations
- Present post-campaign reports and learnings to senior clients
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- Proven experience in
Influencer Marketing / Creator Economy
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Shorts, emerging platforms
- Experience handling
large budgets and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage pressure, ambiguity, and fast-moving campaigns
Good-to-Have
- Experience with regional or vernacular influencer ecosystems
- Exposure to performance-led influencer campaigns (CPA, CPL, affiliate)
- Experience building IPs, long-term creator programs, or communities
- Understanding of legal, contracts, and influencer compliance
