About the Role
We are seeking an Account Manager with experience in medical device industry in the greater St. Louis area. Prefer candidates local to the market, relocation is not offered.
•The Account Manager is accountable for sales of Nanosonics products and service within his/her assigned territory.
•Meet or exceed sales quotas while maintaining territory expenses at or below budgeted levels.
•Facilitate and consult with customers for in-service and product service needs within the territory.
•Regularly report specific territory activities, business growth, quality improvement opportunities, territory concerns and competitive activity to management.
•Assist in collection of market data. Suggest product enhancements and full infection prevention application development opportunities.
•Initiate sales process using tailored strategies aligned with market and understanding client needs . Build trust with client accounts explaining product and service capabilities, and successfully overcoming objections.
•Manage territory issues and opportunities via strong business planning, close interaction with Nanosonics sales leadership and the development of productive business relationships with key thought leaders and key accounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪Consult customers regarding operation of the Company’s products and maintain general after-
sales non-technical support.
▪Coordinate with sales management on proposal preparation and submission to clients.
▪Assist clients in the evaluation of their current situation, assemble proposals, assist in evaluation of proposals and close sales.
▪Respond to customer enquiries covering technical, logistical, and general support including installations and in-services when necessary.
▪Assist customers in appropriate use of products and investigate client problems.
▪Maintain accurate customer databases and current opportunity pipeline, log all activities in SFDC.
▪Gather and report on current marketplace information on pricing, products, and Infection
Prevention techniques.
▪Prepare territory plans and provide status of account development, trends, and action plans.
▪Call on all target accounts with a frequency sufficient to ensure account penetration, sales growth and repeat business within a specified geographic territory. Goal: 2-3 new demos per week.
▪Identify and quickly capitalize on new sales and business development opportunities within
his/her territory.
▪Maintain acceptable customer pricing for Nanosonics products within established guidelines.
▪Direct pod resources to hit targets (clinical, inside, strategic, marketing).
▪Follow-up on sales inquiries generated from advertising, trade shows, emails, or in-person meetings.
▪Attend trade shows as assigned and follow-up on sales inquiries generated from advertising, trade shows, emails, or in-person meetings.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
• 4 year degree
• 3-5 year sales experience
• Salesforce.com experience a plus
• The position requires ability to work independently and ensure customer needs are met
• This position requires demonstrated ability to successfully sell and service accounts in the medical device industry. Proven history of exceeding sales goals.

Salary range:
$85-$90k annual salary, plus commission $110k at plan target annual with no cap
