Role Overview
They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to support growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential enterprise clients. This role blends research, outreach, and cross-functional coordination, offering a strong entry point into technical sales and the climate/geospatial data space.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outreach to identify and qualify enterprise leads.
- Use email, phone, LinkedIn, and marketing campaigns to engage decision-makers across insurance, financial services, and related sectors.
- Research industries and tailor messaging to prospect needs.
- Build and manage a pipeline in the CRM.
- Partner with Account Executives on outreach strategy and account planning.
- Collaborate with Marketing to refine outbound messaging.
- Schedule discovery meetings and support early sales activities.
- Track outreach performance and optimize targeting.
- Map key stakeholders and support account development.
- Stay current on industry trends in climate risk and geospatial data.
- Participate in webinars and events as needed.
Requirements
- 1–3 years in business development, sales, or client-facing roles (ideally in SaaS, data, or geospatial tech).
- Strong communication and research skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to outreach.
- Comfortable with CRM and sales tools.
- Collaborative mindset; interest in climate or data analytics is a plus.

Comp: approx 70-90k base (110-120k OTE)
