Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will be the primary point of contact for clients, building positive relationships both internally and externally while ensuring all aspects of their projects are managed seamlessly. They will need excellent organizational skills to keep projects on track, along with strong communication abilities to set clear expectations and provide proactive updates to both clients and internal teams. With a strong grasp of marketing strategies, terminology, and troubleshooting, the Account Manager will work closely with both digital advertising and advisory clients—collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet each client’s unique needs.
Salary Range:
$75-85k
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management and Growth:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining positive, professional relationships that build trust and satisfaction. Proactively manage client expectations, address needs, and identify opportunities for contract renewals or upselling to foster long-term partnerships.
- Project and Organizational Management:
Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and organization to ensure all client needs are met. Track and manage projects in Asana, keeping all stakeholders informed on progress, updates, and deadlines.
- Marketing and Advertising Knowledge:
Apply a solid understanding of marketing and advertising strategies, terminology, and troubleshooting techniques to provide reliable support for both digital advertising and advisory clients.
- Cross-Functional Communication:
Exhibit strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration between clients and internal teams. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams—including advertising, advisory services, and systems teams—to ensure clarity, alignment, and smooth project execution across all stages.
- Issue Escalation and Objection Handling:
Address client objections, resolving issues when possible, and escalating significant matters when necessary to ensure a seamless client experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management or a client-facing role, ideally within digital marketing, advertising, or professional advisory services.
- Has 3+ years of work experience in the digital marketing, branding, or advertising industry, understanding all aspects of the client journey.
- Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing strategies, industry terminology, and the ability to troubleshoot common client issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly set client expectations, convey complex information in an accessible way, and maintain a professional yet personable tone.
- Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, track deliverables, and adhere to timelines.
- Experience using project management tools like Asana is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to handling client objections and escalating issues when necessary. Flexibility and resilience to adapt to changing client needs and project demands.
