JOB DESCRIPTION
Generate high-quality leads through strategic outbound prospecting. Handle larger accounts and complex sales cycles. Mentor SDR 1s and contribute to team strategy.
Your goal:
Consistently deliver qualified pipeline while helping scale the SDR function.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute multi-touch campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, video)
- Target mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Navigate complex organizations to reach decision-makers
- Run in-depth discovery calls (BANT + business challenges)
- Schedule high-value demos for Account Executives
- Manage longer sales cycles with multiple touchpoints
- Analyze what's working and optimize approach
- Consistently exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
- Mentor SDR 1s (share best practices, review calls)
- Work with marketing on ICP refinement
- Contribute to playbook and process improvements
- Test new messaging and prospecting strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 3-4 years in SDR, BDR, or inside sales role
- Proven track record: Hit or exceeded quota consistently
- Experience with B2B SaaS or tech sales
- Managed full sales cycle from prospecting to handoff
- Expert cold caller and email writer
- Strong qualification skills (BANT, MEDDIC, etc.)
- Advanced CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Data-driven (track metrics, optimize approach)
- Have specific examples of quota attainment
Preferred:
- Enterprise account experience
- Experience with sales engagement tools (Outreach, SalesLoft)
- Understanding of marketing automation tools
- Previous mentoring or training experience
- Bachelor's degree
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
₹7.2L-10.8L per annum
(base + variable)
- Base: ₹5.4L-8.1L
- Variable: ₹1.8L-2.7L (based on quota achievement)
- 120% quota achievement: ₹8.5L-12.7L potential
