JOB DESCRIPTION
Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn). Set meetings for Account Executives. You're the first touch point—your job is to spark interest and qualify prospects.
Your goal:
Build a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cold call potential prospects daily
- Send personalized emails and LinkedIn messages
- Research target companies and decision-makers
- Run discovery calls to qualify leads (BANT criteria)
- Schedule demos/meetings for Account Executives
- Track all activities in CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot)
- Follow up with leads consistently
- Meet daily/weekly activity metrics
- Work with marketing on campaign messaging
- Coordinate with AEs on handoffs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 0-1 years in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Comfortable making cold calls
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Tech-savvy (CRM, email tools, LinkedIn)
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Resilient (rejection is part of the job)
- Coachable and eager to learn
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous sales or customer service experience
- Understanding of SaaS or B2B sales
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
