Job Summary
We are hiring 4 Business Development Officers (BDEs) to develop and manage sales in the plywood, hardware, and building materials channel. The role involves dealer visits, market development, relationship building, and achieving sales targets within the assigned district.
This is a field sales role focused on B2B customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesTerritory & Dealer Management
- Handle sales operations in one assigned district
- Regular market visits to plywood dealers, hardware stores, and distributors
- Expand market coverage and improve product visibility
Customer Acquisition & Relationship Building
- Appoint and manage dealers and channel partners
- Build strong relationships with existing dealers
- Identify new business opportunities in the territory
Sales Execution
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Implement promotions and schemes as directed by ZSM
- Upsell and cross-sell company products
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and product movements
- Submit daily visit reports and weekly sales updates
- Share market feedback with the sales team
Product Promotion
- Explain product features, finishes, pricing, and schemes
- Support product displays, demos, exhibitions, and local promotions
- Act as a brand representative in the market
Candidate Requirements
- 2–6 years of field sales experience
- Mandatory experience in plywood / hardware / building materials
- Strong dealer-handling and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned district
- Two-wheeler or Four-wheeler with valid driving license mandatory
- Basic reporting and WhatsApp / mobile app usage skills
