About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our client's finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across various departments, particularly within Distribution, Logistics, and Global Transportation. Your responsibilities will include constructing and managing reporting templates for periodic financial reviews and planning activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data. You will collaborate closely with finance leaders and cross-functional teams across different regions and divisions, acting as a key partner in financial planning and analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups, macros, and pivot tables
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in finance or related field
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or third-party provider industries
- Familiarity with SAP and other relevant financial systems
Responsibilities
- Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes
- Develop, construct, and coordinate templates for periodic reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Assist the Finance Manager with financial insights related to Distribution, Logistics, and Global Transportation teams
- Collaborate with finance teams and regional leaders to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required
- Maintain organized documentation of financial reports and analysis for audit and review purposes
- Ensure timely completion of reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
