Fp&a Analyst

We are partnering with a growing (PE Backed) organization to hire a highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join its finance team in Houston. This role will play a critical part in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis, with regular collaboration and travel to the company’s Denver-based operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance or accounting, particularly candidates coming from public accounting, investment banking, or transaction-oriented roles—who are looking to step into a hands-on, high-impact FP&A environment.

• Comp for role is $110k-$140k base plus bonus- range varies on level of experience

Responsibilities:

• Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the business
• Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance; investigate variances and trends
• Partner closely with operational and business leaders in both Houston and Denver
• Prepare executive-level reporting, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, scenario modeling, and ROI analysis
• Leverage NetSuite for financial reporting, analysis, and data integrity
• Continuously improving FP&A processes, tools, and reporting efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
• CPA strongly preferred (or active pursuit); investment banking or transaction-focused background highly valued
• 2–5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or investment banking
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis)
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment with cross-functional stakeholders
• Willingness and ability to travel to Denver on a recurring basis
