This position is open exclusively to candidates based in LATAM countries. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Developer to join a small, high-impact engineering team working on a legally sensitive, compliance-driven web platform. The product enables users to securely extract, process, and present communication data (messages, calls, voicemails, and other digital records) in formats suitable for legal and regulatory use.

This role is ideal for a strong mid-level developer with experience across frontend and backend systems who is comfortable owning features end-to-end, debugging production issues, and balancing delivery speed with correctness and data integrity.

You will primarily work with Node.js and React, contributing to feature development, system reliability, and secure data processing as the platform scales in volume and complexity

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:

• Build and maintain full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Develop features that extract, normalize, and present large communication datasets in a clear and reliable manner
• Implement backend services and desktop applications in Node.js to process, encrypt, validate, and export data efficiently
• Design frontend flows in React that guide non-technical users through complex, multi-step workflows
• Ensure data consistency and reliability across web and mobile ingestion sources
• Investigate and parse large datasets and tables to support new data sources and export formats
• Strengthen authentication, authorization, logging, and auditability to meet security and compliance standards
• Automate validation and testing of data exports to prevent downstream errors
• Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs, reproducing edge cases, and delivering verified fixes
• Collaborate closely with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and ship improvements continuously

You will shine if you have:

• 3+ years of experience building and supporting production web applications
• Strong experience in full-stack or backend development using React, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Experience with NestJS and TypeORM
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Solid debugging skills and comfort working with logs and real production data
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on testing, documentation, and code quality
• Excellent written and spoken English, suitable for daily collaboration with U.S.-based teams
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a small, remote team

It doesn't hurt if you also have:

• Experience working in startup or remote-first environments
• Exposure to compliance-heavy or regulated domains (e.g., legal tech, fintech, healthcare)
• Familiarity with data security concepts such as encryption, audit trails, or access controls
• Experience reviewing pull requests and contributing to shared coding standards
• Experience with Electron for desktop application using Nodejs
