Job Summary
Tony’s Roofing is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead and support our roofing repair, maintenance, and replacement teams. This role is critical to ensuring jobsite safety, quality, and crew performance across all projects.
The ideal candidate has deep roofing experience, strong leadership skills, and a track record of managing and developing field teams in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Field Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and manage multiple field teams to achieve operational goals.
- Set clear expectations for quality, productivity, and jobsite professionalism
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new field employees
- Schedule and coordinate crews, materials, and equipment for installations
- Perform jobsite inspections before, during, and after projects
- Ensure work is completed to Manufacturer specifications and Company quality standards . Address deficiencies quickly
- Coordinate with office, sales, and scheduling teams to keep projects on track
Customer & Stakeholder Experience
- Serve as a field-level point of contact for complex customer concerns
- Ensure crews maintain a professional, respectful presence at all times
Safety & Compliance
- Own and enforce all job site safety standards, ensuring compliance with WA L&I
- Conduct regular jobsite safety audits and tailgate meetings
- Lead accident prevention programs and incident reporting
- Ensure proper use and condition of PPE, harnesses, ladders, and safety equipment
Required
- 5+ years of roofing experience, including hands-on install and/or repair work
- 2+ years in a leadership role (Foreman, Superintendent, Field Ops Lead, or Manager)
- Strong working knowledge of residential roofing systems (asphalt, cedar, flat, and metal roofing)
- Proven experience managing multiple crews or job sites
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred
- Prior experience in in-house roofing crews (not only subcontracted labor)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience building or improving SOPs, safety programs, or training materials
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a strong plus
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
