ROLE OVERVIEW
The Director - Operations & Finance is a critical leadership hire responsible for building
operational discipline and financial rigor across both business verticals. This role combines
the traditional CFO responsibilities with hands-on operational management, ensuring that
project execution translates directly into cash realization.
The ideal candidate is a 'Hawk' - aggressive, results-oriented, and comfortable holding
senior team members accountable. This is not a back-office role; it requires someone who can
challenge the status quo, enforce commitments, and drive a culture of execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Financial Management & Controls (40%)
• Own the complete financial management function: budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and
statutory compliance
• Implement and maintain 18-week rolling cash flow forecasts with weekly variance
analysis
• Drive collections and payment realization - target DSO improvement by 30%
• Manage working capital, vendor payments, and banking relationships
• Prepare project-wise P&L, cost analysis, and profitability dashboards
• Ensure GST, TDS, and all statutory compliances across states (Gujarat, Bihar, J&K,
Karnataka)
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
B. Operations & Process Management (35%)
• Design and enforce operational SOPs across projects and manufacturing
• Implement a commitment tracking system - every promise made must be tracked to
delivery
• Run weekly review meetings with documented action items and status updates
• Coordinate between Projects (Sanoj), Sales (Jose), and Production teams
• Manage procurement, inventory, and logistics for materials across sites
• Oversee administrative functions, HR operations, and office management
• Implement and optimize ERP/business systems (GroundControl AI, accounting
software)
C. Strategic Support & Business Intelligence (15%)
• Prepare board-ready reports and investor presentations
• Develop business dashboards showing real-time operational and financial health
• Support strategic decisions with financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Identify cost optimization opportunities across operations
• Evaluate and structure dealer/franchise financial

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
