Job Summary We are looking for a skilled 1st Level IT Support Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements
- Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
- Collaborate with team members and across departments to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and network-related issues
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures, system configuration and repair records
- Manage IT Assets, including physical storage and digital asset list
- Monitor system and network performance, addressing and rectifying issues or anomalies as they arise
- Conduct system upgrades as required to enable system functionality and security
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members, contributing to their ongoing development.
- Ad-hoc support in the delivery of IT projects
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support roles
- Proficiency in a range of computer systems, networks and software, particularly those in use by the company
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working in an international environment
