Role Overview
We are seeking a Server & Security Engineer (Client-Facing) who will serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing both remote and on-site support to ensure stable, secure, and compliant IT infrastructure. The role requires readiness to visit client locations for issue resolution, audits, deployments, and critical incidents.
Key Responsibilities Server & Infrastructure Management
- Deploy, administer, and support Windows and Linux servers across client environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and server roles
- Administer virtualization platforms (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V)
- Perform patch management, upgrades, and capacity planning
- Ensure backup integrity, disaster recovery readiness, and high availability
Security & Compliance
- Implement server security hardening and security best practices
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
- Manage endpoint and server security tools (AV, EDR)
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, including on-site support when required
- Assist clients during security audits and compliance assessments (ISO 27001, SOC, etc.)
Client Engagement & On-Site Support
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients
- Visit client locations for:
- Critical incident resolution
- Server deployments and migrations
- Security reviews and audits
- Troubleshooting issues that cannot be resolved remotely
- Provide clear, client-friendly explanations and recommendations
- Participate in client meetings, service reviews, and technical discussions
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and service delivery commitments
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and share incident reports, RCA, and remediation plans
- Maintain client-specific documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams
- Ensure accurate change, incident, and visit records
Required Skills & Qualifications Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Hands-on expertise in Active Directory
- Experience with VMware / Hyper-V
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security fundamentals
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.)
- Understanding of SIEM / log monitoring tools
- Scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash) preferred
- Exposure to cloud platforms and security (Azure/AWS) is a plus
Client-Facing & Behavioral Skills
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to client sites as required
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to handle pressure during on-site incidents
- Professional conduct, accountability, and confidentiality
- Experience in MSP or SLA-driven environments preferred
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator
- RHCSA / RHCE
- CEH / Security+
- VMware VCP
- ITIL Foundation

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
