Objectives
The Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Company’s Headquarters Office of Security by overseeing and managing a portfolio of security projects and providing support to senior management in developing strategies and facilitating priorities. This role ensures effective collaboration among operating agency stakeholders, monitors and tracks project tasks and progress, supports project managers advancing initiatives, and assists in the development of security initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Key responsibilities include comprehensive project coordination with a strong emphasis on budget management, scope development, and executive-level presentation development. The Analyst will monitor and track security needs, ensuring projects align with established timelines, financial constraints, and company security standards. This includes preparing presentations, facilitating discussions with internal and external stakeholders, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring alignment with departmental objectives.
The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams—including IT, Procurement, Legal, and other internal stakeholders—to facilitate the execution of security initiatives. Additional duties include preparing executive-level presentations, identifying and resolving resource gaps, and recommending emerging technologies and qualified security vendors based on thorough market research and analysis.
Key Deliverables
- Agency Security Programs:
Support the evaluation and continuous improvement of security programs by assisting in performance reviews and identifying areas for enhancement
- Project Support:
Assist in monitoring budgets, reporting, and developing the video library, including tracking footage for operational insights and incident documentation
- Project Tracking & Performance Metrics:
Track and monitor assigned projects and provide regular updates to leadership
- Stakeholder Coordination & Policy Review:
Engage stakeholders and coordinate reviews to ensure security systems, protocols, and policies are current and effective
- Technology Research & Vendor Assessment:
Conduct research and evaluations of emerging security technologies and vendors, including AI surveillance and analytics tools
- Presentation & Program Support:
Support tracking and reporting for tactical programs such as drone initiatives and deployable camera development
- Budget Tracking & Reporting:
Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to ensure alignment with funding allocations and cost controls
Requirements
- This position requires onsite presence at various Company locations within the service territory. After 30 days from the hire date, the employee becomes eligible for one telework day per week
- Candidates may be required to travel to other operating offices or field locations as needed
- Flexible schedule required (not to exceed 37.5 hours per week, up to 48 weeks per year)
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in project coordination or project management, preferably with an emphasis on physical security or technical system deployment
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science/Systems, or a related technical discipline
- General understanding of project management principles
- Familiarity with video management systems and security cameras
- Basic understanding of IT communication and networking concepts, including protocols, encryption, VPNs, operating systems, and resource allocation
- General understanding of electrical principles in security and low-voltage systems
- Understanding of the engineering design cycle and SDLC
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
