Job Title: React Developer (Contract)
Location: Remote or Hybrid (Atlanta, GA)
Duration: Contract (initial term with possible extension)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced React Developer to support a full website rebuild initiative. This role will focus on modernizing the front-end architecture, improving performance, and delivering a responsive, scalable user experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can take ownership of front-end development from design through implementation.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild and modernize an existing website using React
- Translate UX/UI designs into high-quality, reusable components
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product stakeholders
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
- Integrate with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience developing applications with React
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with modern front-end tooling and build pipelines
- Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience consuming APIs and working with backend services
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Query or TanStack
- Exposure to Next.js or other modern React frameworks
- Experience working on website rebuilds or large-scale front-end refactors
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted environments
