Job Description:

The Technical Writer is responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation, including product guides, API references, and knowledge base materials for products and platforms. This role requires strong time and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively. The ideal candidate is passionate about information architecture, content quality, and delivery. The Technical Writer will work closely with product owners, managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent documentation that meets user needs.

Key Skills

• 4+ years of experience creating customer-facing documentation in Agile/Scrum software environments.
• Hands-on experience with Oxygen XML Author.
• Familiarity with markup languages such as Markdown and HTML.
• Proficiency in DITA or other XML-based structured authoring systems.
• Knowledge of version control systems and content management systems.
• Good understanding of software development processes and terminology.
• Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools like Confluence and GitHub.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Experience in creating API documentation, with familiarity in tools such as Swagger and Postman.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end development of technical documentation for assigned products and features.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements

• 4 - 8 years of experience in technical writing.
• Proficiency in using Oxygen XML Author.
• Experience creating API documentation.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in structured content, multi-channel publishing, and component content management systems.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly documentation.
