Role Overview
Systecon North America is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead high-visibility sustainment and analytics programs supporting DoD and defense industry partners. This role is responsible for program execution, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to ensure successful project outcomes.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will oversee complex defense sustainment programs, manage cross-functional teams, and work closely with government agencies, defense contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of complex sustainment and analytics programs for DoD and defense industry clients.
- Develop and manage program roadmaps, budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, defense contractors, and internal leadership.
- Drive strategic program planning and risk management, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and contract requirements.
- Oversee cross-functional teams, including logistics analysts, engineers, and data scientists, to ensure program success.
- Support DoD acquisition and sustainment programs, providing expertise in lifecycle logistics, readiness optimization, and sustainment analytics.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key DoD stakeholders, program offices, and industry partners.
- Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policies, contract requirements, and program performance metrics.
- Identify and capture new business opportunities, contributing to the company’s growth and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver high-impact briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and government officials.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Program Management, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, preferably within DoD acquisition, sustainment, or defense analytics.
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle, logistics support, and sustainment planning.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with predictive analytics, sustainment modeling, and lifecycle cost optimization (preferred).
- Familiarity with contract vehicles, funding processes, and DoD program offices.
- Ability to engage and influence senior DoD stakeholders and industry executives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is a plus.
