As a founding member of our new Bangalore team, you'll architect and develop mission-critical fulfillment technology that ensures medication safety for millions while enabling rapid delivery capabilities to scale the business. You'll work on complex distributed systems handling inventory management, order orchestration, and compliance-critical workflows, building from the ground up using Amazon's latest cloud-native technologies and AI/ML capabilities.

Key job responsibilities
A Senior Technical Program Manager at Amazon Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical programs that span multiple teams and have significant impact on business goals and customer experience.
This is a strategic role requiring deep technical understanding combined with exceptional program management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Ownership & Delivery
Own successful delivery of large, impactful, and highly cross-functional programs while simultaneously tracking smaller projects
Scope and deliver complex, business-critical programs end-to-end, shaping the overall program strategy and roadmap
Manage complex initiatives spanning organizations in support of larger business objectives
Technical Leadership
Work directly with engineering teams on architecture decisions and technology strategy
Understand business strategy and technical design approaches within the pharmacy domain
Gather requirements, document functional and design specifications, and identify appropriate resourcing
Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify risks before they become blockers
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Build bridges among technology, compliance, legal, and security teams
Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes across all levels
Influence and optimize processes across teams, driving the right priorities and trade-offs
Engage effectively at both executive and technical levels with superior written and verbal communication skills
Process & Innovation
Champion innovation and continuous improvement, designing novel solutions to empower teams
Make appropriate trade-offs to optimize timelines and deliverables in consultation with stakeholders
Drive best practices, deal with ambiguity and competing objectives
Follow Amazon's Working Backwards methodology, starting with customer and stakeholder needs
