Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Project Manager with a strong background in leading engineering and technical programs across Networking, Telecom, and Application domains, preferably from Indian MNCs/ Captives . The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in working with Network Equipment Providers (NEP) and OEMs, with hands-on experience managing complex programs in areas such as Network Operating Systems (NOS), Embedded Systems, Java Applications, and Cloud/DevOps/AI-ML technologies. This role demands a strategic thinker, strong leader, and excellent communicator, capable of overseeing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project and program management for technical initiatives in NOS, embedded systems, and Java-based applications (front-end and back-end).
• Drive Agile, Iterative, and Hybrid project delivery models to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development, testing, DevOps, cloud engineering, and product management.
• Apply strong domain knowledge in L2/L3 networking protocols, Java development, AI/ML, and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Cloud infrastructure).
• Conduct daily stand-ups (DSUs), weekly reviews, and stakeholder communication to track and report progress, risks, and issues.
• Manage all aspects of project planning, including estimation techniques, resource planning, delivery metrics, and SLA adherence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring across distributed teams.
• Handle escalations and demonstrate strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ensure effective people management, including performance tracking, training plans, and career development for engineers.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure regular reporting to both internal leadership and customers.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• Deep understanding of Networking (L2/L3) development and testing.
• Strong expertise in Java Application Development (frontend/backend).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, AWS CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies and modern AI/ML applications.
• Working knowledge of Angular (preferably Angular 15) for application development.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and escalation management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 12 to 15 years of experience in technical project/program management with a strong focus on engineering execution.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technical programs.
• Experience working with NEP/OEM partners and customer-facing leadership roles.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
