Role Summary
As a Product Manager, you will own and drive Compyl’s Compliance and Evidence Management product area. This role is focused on delivering high-impact, customer-facing capabilities that help organizations manage controls, evidence collection, audit readiness, and ongoing compliance.
You will work closely with Engineering, Customer Experience, Sales, and leadership to understand regulatory requirements, customer workflows, and business priorities, translating them into clear product direction and executable plans. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with meaningful ownership and visibility, but no people management responsibilities.
Success in this role requires strong product judgment, comfort operating in ambiguity, and the ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform health.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Compliance and Evidence Management product area, including controls, evidence workflows, and audit readiness capabilities
- Define and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned to customer needs and business goals
- Partner with Engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver features with high quality and reliability
- Lead product discovery through customer interviews, feedback, data analysis, and internal collaboration
- Translate compliance frameworks and customer requirements into intuitive, scalable product solutions
- Define success metrics and evaluate product performance to inform iteration and prioritization
- Collaborate with Customer Experience and Sales to support implementation, adoption, and customer outcomes
- Identify gaps and friction points in the compliance lifecycle and drive improvements
- Act as a knowledgeable product partner to customers when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience building B2B SaaS products
- Experience owning complex, workflow-heavy product areas from discovery through delivery
- Background in cybersecurity, GRC, compliance, risk, or other regulated domains strongly preferred
- Strong ability to translate customer needs and regulatory concepts into product requirements
- Comfort working closely with Engineering on technical and architectural tradeoffs
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Tech Stack & Tools
- Project Management & Collaboration: Atlassian Suite, Azure DevOps, GitHub
- Infrastructure: Azure (App Services, Databases, etc.)
- Testing & Reviews: GitHub pull requests, code reviews
Pay Range: $140,000 to $170,000 (Geographic differentials may apply based on local market rates.)
