Technical Product Manager (TPM
We are seeking a results-oriented Technical Product Manager (TPM) to support our clients Digital Platform Group (DPG). This role partners with product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver high-quality digital learning solutions within Higher Education platforms. The TPM serves as the conscience of the product, advocating for customer-empathetic software while balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product owners and development teams to deliver initiatives across Higher Education platforms
- Lead and coordinate across development teams to drive successful product and platform releases
- Resolve ambiguous product requirements to define a clear and shareable product vision
- Own and deliver product cycle plans aligned with business milestones
- Draft project charters and requirements and translate customer needs into actionable engineering tasks
- Oversee all aspects of the product including features, infrastructure, tools, and technical debt
- Prioritize customer experience throughout all stages of development
- Identify and manage cross-team dependencies to ensure seamless delivery
- Assist in troubleshooting customer-reported issues and identify trends to improve user experience
- Track competitive and technological developments within the market
- Partner with business units to provide training on new product features
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to support product adoption and revenue impact
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading Agile-based software or content development teams, with emphasis on Pre-K through Higher Education
- Demonstrated success defining and launching complex SaaS products to large, established user bases with no downtime
- Experience with wireframe and design analysis, SaaS and e-commerce application analysis, use case diagrams, and user story writing
- Strong user-centered design focus and ability to lead UX-driven processes
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
- Knowledge of instructional design and scalable digital content production
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for business and customer stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
