The Role
- As
Product Manager II – AI
, you’ll be at the heart of this transformation. You will lead the charter to conceptualize and ship AI-first experiences that power Razorpay’s next generation of fintech products.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the AI Product Vision
- Define and lead the product roadmap for AI-driven capabilities across one or more verticals—e.g., Payments, Lending, Risk, Banking, etc.
- Collaborate with leadership to align AI strategy with Razorpay’s long-term product vision.
Drive AI-First Problem Solving
- Identify high-impact use cases where AI/ML can unlock efficiency, automation, or smarter decisioning.
- Work closely with Data Science, Engineering, and Design to prototype and scale these solutions.
Data with Empathy
- Blend user research, data insights, and competitive analysis to deeply understand merchant pain-points.
- Prioritize problems and solutions that balance business goals, customer outcomes, and feasibility.
Execution Excellence
- Write high-quality PRDs and own sprint planning with Engineering and DS teams.
- Manage the product lifecycle from discovery to launch to iteration.
Cross Functional Collab
- Partner with Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to embed AI thoughtfully.
- Co-create with ecosystem players where needed—e.g., AI fraud vendors, credit bureaus, etc.
- Shape GTM plans in collaboration with Product Marketing.
- Instrument performance tracking and continuously iterate based on feedback and outcomes.
What we're looking for -
- 4–6 years of product management experience, ideally in fintech or B2B SaaS.
- Deep curiosity and foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts (you don’t have to code, but you should know what a model pipeline is).
- You’ve shipped or worked on AI/ML-powered products—personalization, recommendations, chatbots, risk scoring, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and complex systems.
- First-principles thinker who also values speed and execution.
- Ability to translate technical ideas into compelling customer value propositions.
