About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer who can design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power learning analytics, mentor performance tracking, and platform intelligence. You will work closely with data scientists, product teams, and engineers to ensure high-quality, reliable, and accessible data across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes for large-scale educational data
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency across systems
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Integrate data from multiple sources including learning platforms, mentor systems, and analytics tools
• Collaborate with data scientists to support machine learning and analytics workflows
• Implement data governance, security, and best practices
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data infrastructure
• Create and maintain documentation for data processes and architecture
• Stay updated with emerging data engineering tools and industry trends

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, IT, or a related field
• Strong hands-on experience with Python , SQL , and data processing frameworks
• Experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration (Airflow or similar)
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database systems
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, global team environment
• Interest in education, mentorship, or learning-focused platforms
