Job description
**Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote position
Duration: Long-term position** About The Role
- We’re seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test cases that ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise software applications.
- The ideal candidate will have strong automation scripting experience and the ability to translate business requirements into effective test strategies in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Convert business requirements and acceptance criteria into effective test cases and automation coverage.
- Execute automation and manual test cases as needed.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across applications.
- Log and track defects, verify fixes, and support continuous release cycles.
- Participate in requirements reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure software quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
- Strong scripting experience with WebdriverIO or similar tools.
- Automation scripting using Ruby/Cucumber (Java or C# also acceptable).
- Proficient in SQL and database testing.
- Strong experience in UI and API test automation.
- Experience working in Agile, TDD, or ATDD environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other test management tools.
