Qa Automation Engineer

Overview We are currently hiring experienced QA Automation Engineer from telecom domain with 8+ years of experience in building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for modern web and API platforms. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and will lead the development and execution of our testing strategy, driving the adoption of automation best practices across our projects. This role ensures that all products meet quality standards before release and collaborates closely with development, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior testers in automation best practices
• Continuously improve testing processes and stay updated on industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in QA, with a significant focus on automation.
• Proficient in Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and API testing tools
• Hands-on experience with Serenity BDD and Mate Automation tools
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Proficiency in API testing and automation using RestAssured, Serenity Rest, or similar libraries
• Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or JBehave
• Experience with version control systems and CI tools
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
