Position:
Quality Assurance Engineer
Under the supervision of the Manager of Delivery and Quality, the
Quality Assurance Engineer
will be a driving force in shaping the future of our clinical and patient-facing applications. As a key player, you’ll spearhead testing initiatives, ensuring the top-tier performance and reliability of our innovative applications. You are expected to think critically, be curious, and collaborate with our development teams and stakeholders to ensure the quality of product we are releasing. This role requires the ability to leverage your expertise and insights to design streamlined QA processes, implement them seamlessly with our tool suite, and champion ongoing refinements that contribute to heightened product quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Define testing strategies for Salesforce & custom applications, considering various aspects such as integration, data migration, and customization.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality and performance of applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through the development lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of existing functionalities after new releases.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA process, create buy in and enact positive change.
- Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and an ability to balance and fulfill multiple priorities.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in a quality analyst, quality engineer, software engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and quality assurance practices
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with healthcare industry preferred
- Experience with Salesforce preferred
- Project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, etc., is nice to have
